These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Yarnie Corner (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) website, as well as the purchase of products, including yarn, accessories, and commissioned projects. By accessing or using our website and services, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. General Information
Yarnie Corner is the sole distributor of Beth’Ani hand-dyed cotton yarns and related accessories. We offer cotton yarn and other fibre-related products for purchase, as well as customised, commissioned projects.
2. Orders and Payment
2.1. Order Acceptance:
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to reject any order at our discretion, including but not limited to, situations where the product is out of stock or where there is an error in the order.
2.2. Pricing:
Prices for products on our website are in South African Rand and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
2.3. Payment Methods:
We accept EFT’s and credit/debit cards as payment methods. Card Payment is due at the time of purchase. An email will be sent with the banking details for EFT options. Payments need to reflect on our bank statement before the good will be shipped.
2.4. Order Confirmation:
Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please check the details of your order and notify us of any discrepancies within 24 hours.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1. Shipping Policy:
We offer shipping by The Courier Guy as well as Pudo (Door to Locker only). Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on delivery location and will be included in the sale total.
3.2. Delivery Times:
Delivery times may vary depending on the location and the items ordered. We will provide an estimated delivery date at checkout.
3.3. Shipping Delays:
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or any force majeure events.
4. Returns and Exchanges
4.1. Return Policy:
Due to the nature of our products, all yarn and accessories sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.
4.2. Defective or Damaged Items:
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. We will provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.
5. Commissioned Projects
5.1. Custom Orders:
We offer custom and commissioned yarn projects. These include but are not limited to, baby garments, amigurumi, shawls, etc.
5.2. Project Request and Approval:
To initiate a commissioned project, please submit a detailed request through our online form or contact us directly. We will review your request and provide a quote as well as lead-time. Once you approve the quote, we will begin the project.
5.3. Payment for Custom Orders:
A 75% deposit is required to start a commissioned project, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
5.4. Timeline for Custom Orders:
Estimated timelines for custom projects will be provided upon approval. While we strive to meet deadlines, delays can occur due to factors beyond our control, such as material availability. We will notify you promptly of any delays.
5.5. Cancellation Policy for Custom Orders:
Custom orders can be cancelled within 5 days of order placement for a full refund of the deposit. After this period, the deposit will be non-refundable.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Copyright and Trademarks:
All content on our website, including product descriptions, images, and text, is the property of Yarnie Corner and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised use of our content is prohibited.
6.2. Customer Designs and Ideas:
Any ideas, suggestions, or feedback you provide to us in relation to custom orders may be used by us for business purposes, including but not limited to, product development and marketing. We will give credit where applicable.
